David Mendlen
Privacy policy for the Jarvis text notification program
Effective 28 September 2026. Program overview · Terms
What is collected
When you enroll, the operator, David Mendlen (sole proprietor), records your name as given, your mobile number, and the date and time you typed I AGREE. When you reply to a message, the text of your reply is received so that Jarvis can act on it (for example, locking a door you asked it to lock).
How it is used
Your mobile number is used for one purpose: to send you the household notifications described in the program overview and to receive your replies. The consent record is kept to show that you agreed to receive them.
Sharing
Mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties. Your number is passed only to the messaging carrier (Twilio) as is necessary to deliver the messages you consented to.
Retention
Your number and consent record are kept while you are enrolled. When you reply STOP or ask to be removed, your number is removed from the list of recipients; the dated record of your consent and of your opt-out is kept as evidence that both happened.
Security
Records are stored on the household's own server, which is not reachable from the public internet.
Your choices
Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages. Reply HELP, or email jarvisdave2001@gmail.com, to ask what is held about your number or to have it deleted.
Changes
Changes to this policy are made by updating this page and its effective date.
